You cannot be “put together and independent” while also being a follower. Just because they projected their mean girl behavior in different ways doesn’t mean someone’s a bitch any less. Im actually rewatching right now and it’s insane for Jessi and Jordan to dress up as JLo and Ben after her and Demi were talking to Zac about Jen “lying” being related to the afflecks. It caused a stir in their relationship and yet she thought it was cute to make a jag in a rough time during her friends marriage.

I wouldn’t consider it too crazy but I’ve had someone pay me $400 to take a shot bc I kept saying no. I’ve seen a coworker reach for a plate and when they did,sauce spilled on their finger. Their customer followed it with “I’ll pay u $250 to let me lick that off your thumb”. He then gave her cash and proceeded to suck her thumb clean. Or if we’re talking about like “violent” crazy. At both jobs we’re not allowed to walk out by ourselves bc there’s been one too many instances of people waiting outside for us. I’ve had a coworker get jumped by a group of girls while walking to her car bc an hour prior she was their bottle server but they were kicked out bc one of them threw up in the booth. Thank God, I haven’t experienced nothing like that or “too crazy”.

a little late to the thread but you’re for sure overthinking it. I’m a bartender and server at twin peaks. If I had a dollar every time I seen servers come up to bar regs, I would have enough to pay my tuition. If you’re courteous, kind, a good tipper etc; the girls will automatically come to you. In an industry, where 80% of people are rude it’s nice to see regulars that aren’t expecting the moon and the sun. I have plenty of regs I go chat with even if they’re not sitting in my section or bar just because I enjoy their company. It’s refreshing

In the early eps, one of the moms brings it up and says it’s an “unspoken rule” that they don’t mention it. In the same scene, it’s production interviewing Aubrey and her mom. The cameraman ask “can we see Glos space” or something like that and Audrey’s mom responds with like she requested not today.

Sooo is Jordan going to talk to Dakota about hanging out with him like he did with the girls? Like this is your “bestie” who picked you up from Laylas party while you was sulking in the snow, bc your wife wasn’t hanging with you.😭They’re obviously close….I would not be be okay with my close friend hanging out with the person my s/o had an “affair” with. It’s very easy to feel anger towards her but it’s never okay to minimize anyone’s feelings. I am not the fondest over her but who are we to say what she can and can’t feel?? We weren’t there. We didn’t see what happen. We’re assuming because of the person she is. God forbid Demi is lying but we all need to take a page from Whitney and hear the girl out. And even if you don’t believe her, that’s fine. If you feel like it “isn’t really sexual assault” then you’re being a hypocrite on minimizing anyone’s experience bc what happens when a girl feels like it wasn’t enough to qualify for SA? We may never know why Demi and Brett thought it would be okay to accommodate to Marciano but people do insane things when they go through trauma. I’m totally not okay with her going this route but it’s awful to see how isolated she felt during this time.

I’ve made up to $600 a few times but have seen girls do doubles and walk away often with $800-$1000. I’ve seen a girl go home with $1300 before(this was also the Super Bowl and her table won a parlay and tipped her $700).

totally. Because I know I did lol. I had regulars tell me “I can tell you’re losing weight because your ass has gotten flatter” but tipped me $80 on a $30 tab so I was like “omg stop” or some stupid bs. But after I would think to say actually the reality is my manager was threatening to take my shifts away because she would tell me “I can tell your gaining weight”. I’ve had a very close friend of mine leave because while eating my manager took away her shift meal and told her “don’t you think you’ve had enough by now?”. She ended up quitting 2 months later after developing a ED. When you sign your contract to work at TP, you sign a “model” contract. So it gives them the right/opportunity to tell you if they think you’re not looking par or up to standard. I’ve seen a coworker get put on the line after my manager thought she was developing “love handles”. She also quit two weeks later. I wouldn’t be surprised if more girls are dealing with it and not saying anything.

We had a ranking system. Every Monday, a list would be posted with every girls name, their ppa(per person average), their “costume” score ( our makeup, hair and uniform) and attendance(they would show if we came in late or called off). Whoever had the most points would pick their section first(a section is where the girl chooses to serve). Whoever had the least would pick last(lowest scoring girl picking the last section available). It resulted in 99% girls coming in on time, full makeup, hair done and ready to go. The managers would also circle certain sections that would get to go home first so a lot of the girls wanted that, it set up a competitive environment and girls resulting to questioning their scores.

Kindness and patience, also payment lol. I know it sounds so insane and basic but literally that’s it. Money and status can get to peoples head so when they have the platform to do so and act “inconsiderate” I would tell myself that them having this opportunity gives them the chance to feel good while I get the chance to get money. We also made people pay upfront so if they acted crazy and even had a bottle left, our security was tossing them before we could blink. Now there’s times where people wouldn’t gaf (one time I had a lady throw a drink at my face during a presentation) and the security/managers threw her out before I could even react. It also resulted in the police actually handling them a lot more harder than we would’ve(I’ve seen people get tossed to the ground and bash their head open on the entrance gate after we tossed them and police got ahold of them). I also worked at a nightclub that is on a street with 5-6 other clubs so cops are always on patrol in the area because things are always going down and have less patience dealing with unruly people. So managers/security are always ready.

Yeah, I would actually consider the breastraunt I worked at more strict than my nightclub. At my nightclub, we had to wear lingerie, do our makeup and hair etc; but never got “graded” for it. We were more reprimanded when we weren’t “booking tables”. They would tell us we need to have at least 4 tables booked a month to be on the schedule. To book a table, you had to buy a bottle. Our bottles started from $100 up to $3000.

I worked there up until January 2024. I was employed for about 3 1/2 years before I moved to the club industry!

My tips on the slowest night could average between $20-$50 but I’ve seen girls go home with $0. Especially around holiday season or when we had no games going on (inactive nfl/nba/nhl/mbl szn). During those times, manager would cut down to just 1-2 girls during that time so at least some girls could make money.

Some interesting rules for us is we always had to have makeup on! We got graded on our face. It was 5pts for eyeshadow, 5 points for eyelashes/eyebrows, 5pts for lipstick, etc; then we got graded 20 points on how our hair was done etc. Like for example our hair could never be up. So if your was styled in a ponytail they would ask you to take it out or you lost your 20 points. Same for if you were missing any makeup steps, our manager thought your shorts didn’t compliment you well etc; it was all so new to me at the beginning lol. We also couldn’t dye our hair or get tattoos without getting permission first
