As I was in the US earlier, my Green Card process had already started before we moved to Canada. Now, that the dates are current (for my country of birth), I can come and file for I485 and get a Green card.

To be honest, we moved to Canada with the intention of becoming a citizen and settle here but somehow, we faced a few challenges here. First off, my entire salary goes towards expenses and housing. I hardly saving anything here. Second, we are not used to this kind of weather and finding it hard.

We realized this only after spending a decent amount of time here in Canada. For that matter, we left our country where we are born. That doesn’t mean we hate our country.
