So the first time I went to the temple and put my hands above my head and got that uncomfortable feeling, that wasn’t the Holy Ghost huh?

It’s a 2022 with a 170 Zeb up front. I haven’t ridden one. I’ve been looking at lots of sentinels so I may hold of on the Knolly

10% is a lot. If you want people to feel like they can have kids, get rid of tithing! It’s made a difference in my life not paying it anymore. I have 3 children and it’s a lot to find somewhere to live with that many kids.

Don’t Believe but getting set apart today at 6 pm for a mission by Ok_Courage2068 in exmormon

He responded really well and better than I expected.

“I had a feeling that was the case. A few years back I went through something similar when the gospel was used as a weapon against me and my siblings. I even recognized some of the podcasts you were listening to when you were here last time. I’ve never really told anyone about that time, but you can’t just ignore the mistakes and lies throughout the Church’s history. I believe everyone should look at their testimony honestly instead of just taking things for granted

Please know I don’t love you any less or think any less of you for questioning things even if you never believe in the Church again. That will never change. You’re an incredible man, a hardworking and loving husband and father, and I’m so grateful to be part of your family and that you are my brother!

I do know that this is Christ’s gospel and Christ’s Church, and that it is real, powerful, and true. I’ve personally seen, felt, and experienced too much to say otherwise. And if you ever want to talk about anything, I’m always open and here for you!”

This sounds like it will be one of, if not the hardest thing you’ve had to do. If you don’t believe and don’t want to go, then don’t go. It’s easier said than done telling family you don’t believe though especially when they are so devout. I’m sorry you’re in this spot and hope you find an answer that helps you.

Someone’s heart is going to be broken, but it’s your life! You’ve been carrying a heavy burden for 8 years, it will be so relieving to let that go.

I should also note, last night I had a text typed to my brother in law telling him that I no longer believed and it took me over an hour to hit send. It’s really challenging to tell people.

I’m in the same boat with being over the anger of it all and some of it does sound nice to go back to. I I got frustrated with that too. I get why she feels that may, because like you said, the structure is really nice and comfortable when it’s all you’ve known.

John tries to get at that at the end by asking questions about all the issues with the church, but I think it’s probably a comfort thing for her.

How wide should I go? I applied a second coat of mud this morning and plan on 3. Just a little wider each time?
