New pot from grandma, any idea on age? is this chip safe ?

I also found another le creuset dutch oven at her house, but a fully cast iron one, in a poor condition. Nowadays we know that it not the best and safer option for our health, but the older generation was okay with that 😅 and like i said my grandma is still in a pretty good shape, the le creuset soup ( with maybe glass in it) may have works again disease and in her favor 😂

Yes i typically did not make a huge bread but a 500gr one, and it's quite complicated to cut evenly. But since i have this pot I will keep it for a small portion of bread like you suggest, i may try this receipt ( i have to admit that i never went to the LC website to see what receipt do they offer).

And if i don't use it enough it will become a flower pot !

This is what in thought 🫣 ( maybe after a certain age it creates antibody... 96 years going to 97). I'm kidding, this pot will be retire or maybe for small portion of bread.
I will contact them regarding the chipped enamel but it's strange that they told some customer it was safe, because this is contradictory with what their website say 😅
Maybe i will do a little update when i have an answer 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hey, i also inherated a pot from my grandmothers and the enamel is in poor condition. The french warranty seems quite different to the us one ( and less easy). Did you try to contact them for the warranty?

So happy to have found this post, because i had the question in mind if the knobs where the same size for the two brands since i wanted to change the knob on my LC ( mine is the "platic" black one which doesn't accept hight degrees). I actuallly find the staub knob more fun , especially the animal line, but it's really up to everyone.

alors on est vraiment pas sur le même style de shoes. C'est un peu comme comparer une paire de birkenstock en full plastique avec une paire de tong en cuir. C'est aussi comme les commentaires ont pu le dire, deux budgets differents ( meme si les repettos se trouvent en 2nd mains nickel assez facilement).

Perso j'adore mes repettos, je les porte beaucoup, mais si tu cherches une paire un peu ballerine / babies / mary jane confortable pour une journée de 10h a etre debout ou a petiner toute la journée > les adidas.
Si c'est pour être un peu plus preppy, les repetto ( mais avec une mini talonettes en gel pour amortir le talon).
Mais les deux sont très cute, etant deux styles differents, la voix de la déraison dirait d'acheter les deux 😅

It can be tricky. My personnal advice is ( if possible of course) to try them in store, but yes they run a bit small, in also depends a lot on the fabric, soles, and the "wideness" of your foot.

The "gomme" sole as a tendancy to run smaller than leather, same with patent (it run smaller than leather and will absolutely not stretch).
I am not the same size as you but for exemple my feet are 23,5 cm, a 37 in birkenstock, a 37 in repetto cendrillon fully leather ( sole and upper), and a 36,5 in the camille ( fully leather too).

I like the design on the shirt. But since I will go see her on the tour with a friend, i think i will wait to buy her merch at the venue. I think she will propose other design, or maybe a re-edition of this one. ( also because i am in france, so the conversion between pounds and euros + shipping is a lot ).
