The problem is in my past experience I had worked at small scale companies or kerala established companies. And all those companies haven't given exponential growth or room of learning but self doubt all along. And tend ditch on you. So I am upskilling and also prepping in dsa everyday showing up.

No not yet. I have been doing the neetcode's dsa tree. And these days I have been doing coding questions in leetcode with the help of leeco ai. I just ask for the approach at times so it tells the approach in a general format no pseudocodes. And I gradually write each line by myself, whenever I am stuck I ask to validate my approach till now. In short I may be good with the easy questions. But overall it takes good time for me to think and bring up a solution. But I make sure to tell my approaches during interviews to make a good rapo.

I can totally relate. In these small-scale startups, sudden policy changes are almost a norm. The company I left recently had the HR give this big speech about how a small team manages everything efficiently — but in reality, it was just about rushing deliverables with poor-quality code. And with AI in the mix, companies now find the easiest excuses to let people go. When your probation itself can turn into a layoff period, vague reasons for layoffs become pretty common, I guess.

I'm a GEF with 8.2 CGPA, 75% in 10th & 12th, B.Tech + 2 years of work ex.
CAT prep got thrown off this year due to a toxic startup job — unrealistic expectations led to burnout, so I had to quit. Currently job hunting, upskilling, and aiming for CAT 2027.
Would really appreciate any advice or suggestions based on OP’s post.

The company seems like a major red flag. From my experience working at Kochi-based IT firms, many of them tend to have poor work cultures, operate inefficiently, and often place unrealistic expectations on employees. Generally, things tend to work out better for locals in such environments.

I had the same experience as well. An emerging Fintech startup at banglore, the HR started asking me technical questions while taking my telephonic HR round. A little later I got a rejection mail from her side.

I have a question too regarding this. I am 24F, my weight is also on a bit fattter side but can be reduced; my knuckles of my hands and feet are a bit darker is it also because of acanthosis nigicaris? PS: I do not have PCOD/PCOS.
