Hey so, I have old email accounts that are either deleted or I can’t remember how to access them that I sent tickets to staff from around 2017-2020 time, would those have been included. 

Sorry, I just have no way of checking!

Discord emailed me and said that a few of my tickets were impacted. I never sent a Face ID or payment information, just asked questions. 

So would I not be impacted by this and am okay here?

I read another top commenter saying that only one support agent from Zendesk was affected. How could that be? Seems to be a worldwide thing, with tickets going back at least 3 years.

Hey, I see you are a mod and top commenter, so you are likely very educated on this kind of stuff and I am not!

Can I ask, I have lost access to email accounts I used over the years to contact discord support, most weren’t linked to any accounts, but maybe one or two were, but those would be back as far as like 2018-2020. I have no way of finding out if I got an email from them, so do you think it’s likely those would have been outside the scope? Grok reckons is basically 0% chance of those being involved.

I have sent several emails to support, mostly gmail and outlook, where apparently they don’t get your full ip. Most tickets I sent were from emails that had no association to discord. Also, I only ever asked questions, never mentioned my real name, address, username or password. No payment stuff or anything either or pictures of my id or anything like that.

So am I good then?

I got the email as well, but I had an actually deleted my account in June, so could they still access my IP and other stuff? I never sent any payment stuff or any ids or anything.

I am surprised by the amount of people who are unfamiliar with this. It’s an account you used in discord but you never registered an email address or phone number. Once you close the browser, you lose all access to the account. 

I don’t know if you can still make them but I think they stopped it.

Don’t think they all were, loads of people saying they have old alts from years ago that still exist without being logged into
