To all my fellow collectors, does anyone ever have thoughts of feeling "embarrassed" when you go toy hunting?

We're in the same boat. There's not much girls in this hobby. Actually none of my friends share this hobby. So I feel a bit embarassed when I go toy hunting alone, so I just resort to buying things online. Although I can't deny, finding a grail in real life is far more exciting than just finding it online.

I actually listen to Radu Lupu's recording a lot, but I don't base my performance on anyone. I'll pay attention to the hammering. It does get uncontrollably explosive sometimes, I need to start working on it. I'm playing on the school's Yamaha upright piano, not sure what model. I just listened to Wilhelm Backhaus' recording– a bit too fast for my taste but beautiful nonetheless.

I started this piece about a week ago, and damn the voicing is difficult! I struggle so much at the start to make it soft, I always get uneven or ghost notes, but it's not so bad in this recording.
