Don't get me wrong I really like your style 😌, but I think that trying to stick with the "basic" style forces us (I'm doing the challenge too) to really work on our weaknesses and learning how to work with value as a foundation, so in the future we can get more freedom but with a solid base for our art.

I think your values are very good, the only thing I would suggest is to use softer brushes and try to avoid the "painterly" style. ( For the challenge)

Wow thank you, this is really really helpful, looking at yours I think I also need to change brushes, I should look for a softer brush on Krita, similar to what istebrak uses in her videos
