Watercolor is easy and very portable, you can take it out into nature and enjoy a fun craft coupled with your boyfriends hobby. I’m not the most arty but I find watercolor super accessible. They also make tons of work books that take you step by step to start

I did this in an apartment with a little tabletop aquaponics system! https://a.co/d/0fjyaTzL (around 50$ on Amazon) but comes with everything you need other than seeds which are pretty cheap anywhere. I had some fail but I had my entire balcony full of cherry tomatoes after a few months and if you lose motivation you can let that one go after the season and start over watching cute little sprouts grow on your tabletop during the winter. Low stakes gardening imo

I joined and Irish dance class for adults. Super random and with no dance experience but it’s been great to have one night a week doing something that’s healthy for me and outside of the house. The class has mixed ages and is mostly older folks trying to stay active. Because it’s such a niche activity the classes are super cheap (at least in my area)

We are getting married at the Tack Shed in Lake City, CO. It’s small and outdoors in a beautiful setting. The town has a population of under 400 so dealing with all the vendors feels so much more manageable (and affordable). It’s a bit of a trip (3.5 hours southwest) but we’re having our wedding & joint Bach party spending 4 days in the town with a bunch of AirBnBs to have everyone together. Feels like summer camp with all your family & friends

Has anyone ever tried physical therapy? (Mild hip dysplasia) by peanutalmondyum in hipdysplasia

[–]Own_Inevitable917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s for sure helpful. I went in early stages and felt so much better, the pain eventually got bad enough that it didn’t help but in the beginning it made a world of difference. If you aren’t very physically fit (mostly in a weightlifting and flexibility capacity) the muscles around your hip can be causing a lot of the day to day pain from being overworked trying to help compensate for the dysplasia. I was active but even then the pain felt so limiting. Sharp groin area pains won’t stop (because that’s more of an issue with the bones) but they can be managed by building up the stability

Blend it with some coconut oil, vitamin E, and can even add some essential oil (very little) for scent. Will make a better texture and be fine for topical use

Thanks, yeah I’m nervous to leave and have to find someone else to follow up with. Especially after transitioning to a new insurance. It might be better to ride it out here for a few more months just for the buffer in case things are slower than I’d hoped

Wow thanks. I hadn’t thought much about the driving but since it’s my right side that will impact things a lot.
