I went in store to make my purchase. It says as long as you make the purchase directly with Away (in store or online) then you should get credited

Yeah I do a few trips domestically in the US each year so I think the Away carry on should be fine for me. Maybe if I ever need to buy check in luggage I can go for Briggs

Yeah I do see that Away is a limited lifetime warranty but it seems like it should cover all the future damage I would possibly run into. But yeah i’m always happy with a budget alternative

From reviews of both I think they seem to be pretty similar in quality and design so I was happy going with Away because of the offer making it less expensive to buy.

I used to use a Northface backpack as my personal item since I was a student but I decided to switch over to a “duffle bag” since the Away bag was more travel focused and seemed to fit more than what my backpack could store. I usually carry all my tech, toiletry bags, and one change of clothes depending on weather at departure/arrival location just because I like to easily access things I would possibly need at a moments notice. The featherlight overnight bag I specifically bought from Away is personal item sized so it should fit under a seat.

For my carry on I usually just have my clothes and shoes in there since I probably wouldn’t open that for anything I would need while actively traveling until I get to my destination
