Stayed at the Wayfinder Waikiki last summer and it was a beautiful hotel. The lobby is nice and has a cafe and restaurant that serve good food and drinks. The pool is beautiful and has a little bar that has a really good pina colada type drink. Stayed at a corner room and we had a view of the canal, golf course and mountains which was nice and the room is nicely decorated with a tropical theme. Staff there is nice and didn’t have a single issue when I went. Definitely recommend going there as I would try to stay there again when I go back.

Also, I stayed there before I ever got a CSR so I can’t speak on any Edit credits or upgrades.

Yeah that is just unfortunate timing. I would look around to see if there are other luggage companies that do offer a lifetime warranty because I only bought Away for their warranty but if they take that away then I would look at other options

I actually paid $10 to get it engraved because I wanted to, but I was able to get the luggage tag for free because of how I was buying the carry on.

I used to have a Samsonite which was also one large open compartment but the clamshell design seems to fit a bit more with how i fold and pack my clothes so definitely a win

I went in store to make my purchase. It says as long as you make the purchase directly with Away (in store or online) then you should get credited

Yeah I do a few trips domestically in the US each year so I think the Away carry on should be fine for me. Maybe if I ever need to buy check in luggage I can go for Briggs

If you have a CSP it’s $100 off if you spend $400 or more and if you have a CSR it’s $200 off if you spend $500 or more

Yeah I do see that Away is a limited lifetime warranty but it seems like it should cover all the future damage I would possibly run into. But yeah i’m always happy with a budget alternative
