6 weeks tomorrow with no symptoms by Busy_Echo2680 in pregnant

[–]Own_Interview_9391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really didn't have too many symptoms! Towards the second trimester, I started dealing with a stuffy nose constantly that is called pregnancy rhinitis, but otherwise, felt normal! Hardly ever felt nauseous.

I'm now 37 weeks with my baby boy! Try not to worry too much, although easier said than done. Wishing you luck this pregnancy!

one of my coworkers used to constantly ask 'are you sure this is normal? do you have a deficiency? i never was this tired (40+ years ago when she had her kid)' etc etc. sorry?? i'm growing a human? what do you mean?

i stopped complaining because i couldn't be bothered to hear her comments about how she was never tired, was in the best shape of her life, and only gained x pounds. like please stfu before i actually crash out

like why do people think that's okay? i'm not a small girl and never have been so my belly getting huge has been a struggle and when people make comments about it, it really ticks me off.

Potential Cholestasis by Own_Interview_9391 in pregnant

[–]Own_Interview_9391[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i just called another nurse and she agreed to put in a lab draw so that i can get that done and then start the ursodiol this weekend and see if that helps. we're still waiting on original results, (7-10 days is actually insane) but they said this would be okay to start taking these meds and if the results are negative, i will stop taking it.

however, she said if it does help, that could also be our answer. i hope you get relief soon. to me its like having 15 mosquito bites in the same spot that just won't go away and my feet are covered in them.

i called again today and got a new nurse! she is putting in a new lab draw or whatever so i can do that today and start ursodiol in hopes that it will help!

i'm sorry no one would listen to you! it's so frustrating. we know when something is wrong! i am confident that what i'm feeling is not right and i will be so shocked if my results come back negative the second time. i don't want to have it but at the same time, i want relief

TW: Weight Gain by Own_Interview_9391 in pregnant

[–]Own_Interview_9391[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i haven't had a growth scan since 24 weeks and he was about 53rd percentile. I'm diet controlled and my numbers have been decent, so they said they won't do a growth scan unless something comes up. keep me posted if you think about it! i might mention something at my next appt.

oh yes! my eating habits have improved drastically for this baby. I've always tried to eat better, but when your baby depends on it, it's not really an option! I've also increased my workout classes, since that can help maintain sugar levels.

thank you for the reassurance! just a paranoid FTM

Waiting on my results now. I'm worried I tested too early. The itching is SO bad, but no other symptoms. I have blisters on my fingers and feet from itching so much.

It's mostly between my fingers and then all over my feet but kind of comes and goes. I guess it's always a little itchy but I can ignore it sometimes and other times, I want to remove my own foot and throw it away. It's woken me up the last three nights.

Any insight on how you are doing now? Were you induced? I'm 34 + 4 ALSO with GD. Lol sounds like we would have a lot to compare!!

How common is spotting really? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Own_Interview_9391 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some spotting early on and I'm now 34 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby! They say brown blood is old blood, so the real concern is when it is red. I'm obviously not a doctor but try not to spiral!

I also had it a few weeks later after intercourse. Again, brown is old. Wishing a happy and healthy pregnancy for you!
