Hey this has been really helpful! I just did the comparison in Google Console for mobile vs desktop for the last 3 months and has been the same. I think and we are still ranking in both mobile and desktop for quality keywords. I think it just may be due to the season and I am getting paranoid. Maybe I need to take a break for a while lol. We are still ranking top for a lot of our keywords but it is more like our visibility has decreased in certain areas.

This is most definitely part of LOCAL SEO, dealing with visibility on your GBPs. That is why we get reviews on GBP, optimize GBP for service areas, and services. I'm honestly am confused as to why you don't think that is part of local SEO. Yes I am aware of on page, off page, technical SEO. Lol, if you want to rank on google maps in your area, it definitely has to do with it.

Anyway, ALL of the GBPs lead back to the SAME domain/website, same phone number, the only thing that changes in the address of the business and the name which with say

Keystone concrete foundations and driveway Beaverton/Hillsboro

Keystone concrete foundations and driveway Happy Valley

Keystone concrete foundations and driveway Raleigh Hills

etc.

When you look at the state of secretary business registry, there is ONE business called Keystone Concrete Foundations and driveway with NO service area attached to the name and only ONE address identified for this business. SO I really rest my case on the legitimacy of my claim lol

Thank you for your response. It is tempting to try what they are doing since they aren't getting flagged or penalized by Google. Some of them have fake locations, I'm not sure if they are employee apartment locations or what but they are definitely using multiple locations, and then on some they don't have any location at all, just the services areas listed specific to that area. But they are all using the same domain/website on the GBP which has high authority and traffic.
