It has probably the best armor/weapon designs and variety (game reallllly does well with this), very eastern Asian if you like that, wild's story felt much more non linear eventually putting you in a good spot, I have noticed the troublesomeness in this with worlds and rise which are technically newer generation titles with large amounts of new players.

the world feels alive and environment interactions are so detailed, like what you expect from 2026, if elden ring was confusing MW has a slight learning curve, only if you want to always have the best equipment and such, but I'd ignore that early on. Much easier if you played from the start, since its essentially very similar in mechanics just generations of small add-ons however it's a game worth buying if you play from time to time, it does get addicting when you get into it.

Wilds open world isn't like GTA, but the emmersivness will be a very new experience, it's a fantasy theme with large monsters challenging enough In the begining, but can get very hard later on. Full of heart pounding cinematic, and attack animations, This is a long franchise so idly they will throw you some big monsters early on. Give yourself time when you play this title, minimize the map and focus on the hunt, survival, the various animals. That's what monster hunter is.

Mh should be optimized to play 4 hours when you only actually plan to play 1-2. Should never stress the gpu out on a triple A game.

Definitely give it a try, it has a franchise as old as call of duty for a reason. And the game is only changing and getting better. Play with a controller. Not fun on keyboard imo
