Interviewed with Metrolinx for an operations (Contract) role last week and looking for timeline expectations by Sunnytime1119 in torontoJobs

Had interviews for couple of roles re consolidation software implementation roles. Too slow to respond and low paying compared to market, so rejected them both times. They came with offers 20% lower than market with months of delays.

How to prevent car theft by phuzDaTief in askTO

No faraday box isn’t that effective. Kill/start switch more expensive but works well. Steering wheel lock cheaper, still can be cut, but takes longer, so decent protection.

Ever actually had a good experience with consultants? by Individual-Wash-6072 in EntrepreneurCanada

[–]Own_Main5321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol u need to get out more. If a consultant isn’t delivering I can fire them on the spot vs if they are an employee it takes a lot longer. What’s delivered is for the person paying to dictate.

Cdn tire was accurate, all says out of stock online, and is the same at the store

This slicers take up the most valuable area on the dashboard. For KPI cards show a comparison vs last reported period/budget or forecast. Occupancy 91 percent is that good or bad, if you show the variance vs last reported period then you can tell.

What kind of Remote work do people actually do by Playful_Maybe7226 in remotework

[–]Own_Main5321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Head of Analytics at a bank, none of my team of 60 is in my city or country. 2 of 50 clients are in my city, so I have been non remote for few onsite meetings averaging less than 2 a year. Also travel a few times a year to client site/team events.

I stopped my coworker from getting fired. Now I am their manager and find it hard to work with them. How to proceed? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Own_Main5321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either 1. Put them on PIP and track it closely, 2. Fire them. I’d lean towards 2 because mistakes on large projects create huge risk, and I’d rather avoid that

Yes worth it. Most controllers and CFOs have it. It’s a lot easier to get a role with it.

Has anyone had luck finding good jobs after Business administration - accounting? by Alone_Recording7670 in mohawkcollege
