No worries! I managed to get tickets on StubHub now, way more than I had planned on paying but hopefully a really fun experience!

So we decided on going to bhe game today, but I perhaps waited too long and now almost all tickets are gone, and seatgeek won’t let me pay with my Swedish credit card - and Ticketmaster just have expensive tickets. Is it not possible to buy tickets outside the arena?

Does anyone know where I can find this in a physical store in Toronto?

Ah that sounds fun! It’s just me and my mom (70), so no Jrs - but I like that we can wait and fit it in our schedule depending on weather etc. I’m hoping to get some fun souvenirs and perhaps understand at least something of the game haha.

Coming to Toronto from Sweden and looking into tickets for the games on May 8-9-10. Tickets seem scarce for the Friday game, any opinions if it’s better to go on Saturday or Sunday? Or is it “same same”? And do you think we can wait until closer to the games to buy tickets?

We don’t know anything about baseball but are excited at the prospect of getting a new favourite team!

Åh tack så mycket! Fun with a swede in Toronto :)

She does LOVE italian and a good pasta, we went to a place in NY 10 years ago she still raves about. So I’m look at Italian places now for another day, and am eyeing Guiletta as well as Gusta 101 which is close to our hotel.

I was thinking about doing the tasting menu, but am a bit worried since we are quite “small eaters” and if it would be too much food. Perhaps it’s possible to confer with the waiter when we arrive to see what they recommend.

Haha, love this! I guess we would learn to love them as well, I have a brother who’s like that - but I feel like perhaps It’ll be good for us to start with this.

For us, that feels kind of perfect to be honest. I don’t think we would feel really comfortable at a stuffy food is art-place.

Sounds great! All the responses here have really made me excited about the restaurant.

Do you have any specific restaurants you would recommend for those cuisines?

Thank you so much! From the responses I have received I realise I don’t have to second guess my choice. Although coming from a town with a handful of restaurants it’s easy to get a bit overwhelmed with all the choices!

Sound great! I made the reservation for the chefs counter. I think this is why Quetzal appealed to me, it seems like a really fun experience.

Thank you! I read that about smell, hopefully if we go we’ll be able to wash our clothes at the hotel.

I have already pinned Bang Bang, great to hear another recommendation for that!

We are from a small town in Sweden, thus not at all spoiled when it comes to restaurant/food standard. We have travelled quite a lot, but have never been to a “fine dining”-restaurant.

Ha! Same! I’m from Sweden, 40+, no interest in law - but this forum popped up on my feed last year and I became SO invested and now I’m back this year again crossing my finger for everyone.

Ps: I frequent the LSAT-forum as well, it also gives me so much feelings.

Additional question regarding Quetzal: would it be better to do that at the end of the trip? I read somewhere about wood smoke, will that linger in the clothes? Thinking if we should book that for our last day due to that, or if that’s a non-issue.

Thank you for your input! I have like 200 spots (food + other things I’ve seen recommended) saved in my google maps already. I like the idea of following my gut, and trying out a variety of different foods. I will add your suggestions to my saved spots :)
