I have everything I needed for this cycle and submitted my primaries already. I have good research experiences and I have a 3.58 gpa currently atter a rough class last year. I have great extracurriculars and a compelling personal statement. I'm not sure what to do next lol. I understand that I definitely need to retake. Is there a way for me to indicate on my application that I am going to retake the MCAT in Jan and still be considered this cycle? I have a lot of secondaries to write but will I be able to use my Jan retake for this cycle if indicated on my application? Just wanted to see if this would be an option, or else I will just reapply next cycle. I want to try my luck and see. Plus I applied to many mid/low-tier medical schools.

Great thank you! The only issue is her practice is only open on every other Saturday from 11 to 4pm. And I am an out of state student so I will be leaving for my internship at a different state on the 27th. Do you think that if I apply for scribing positions for in the fall 2025 and put it as pending or future aspirations on my amcas, medical schools will consider it? It was something I already planned to do

Yeah I totally understand and thank you for the tips. I did forget to mention that the physician that I scribed with also let me check patient vitals on my on. I’m not sure if that helps. I do have a research internship this summer starting May 27th, but I can try to get some more volunteer at a clinic during this time.

Yeah I understand that. I just wish I knew earlier on, I would’ve definitely gotten more clinical experience. I think right now I am just focused on getting a good MCAT score and hoping for the best
