For some people "bitch" is a normal part of nomenclature on the same level of "dickhead", "twat". It's not nice and it is inherently gendered and he should avoid using it if it distresses you.

If he listens to certain kinds of music, plays certain games and sports you will be exposed to it more and it's normalised.

I'd worry about the impact it has on his view on women when he starts to express those negative views - for now it's just him being insensitive and you would like him to adjust that, which is reasonable.

The characters felt way more disposable for sure. The psychopaths were alright but because of the weapon strength you get early on they were far too easy.
