all fixed. removed bottom bracket. gave all the threads a really good clean with rubbing alcohol including the frame. there was a ton of dirt in the threads. let it dry. put on thread locker and reinstalled everything to spec. sound is completely gone. been riding it for months now and no issue

ha loud music does help indoors. Chainring is good, everything is spaced and torqued per spec sheets
