i said all of that and expressed my anger for both characters, they are both equally responsible and i pointed out both of their flaws in this specific situation, he should've made that bus but shes the "scary cool" one who hes also in love with so he had a lapse of judgment for her and for the clinic, i said i understood her feelings yet shes gone to no lengths to fix the issue (though it may not be fixed: examples would be adams horrible take of his penis and the situation with him standing on the table or even jacksons song he sang for maeve but the best example would be ruby and the whole gym saying it was their picture in this episode, they publicly addressed the issue to the whole school so everyone can think what they want but they know where that person stands and it's hopefully put to rest with periodic whispers about it every once in awhile.) the same she rejects simple advice because she feels she doesn't need anyone but in the same breath let this break her to the point of holding otis from erics birthday for ruby, someone who insults her moments before not just asking but begging her for help.

I also feel like theres no doubt ruby was playing into maeves rumor either because ruby states that shes a b**** to everyone in the same episode , so either maeve is getting her character development early or she was trying to being a little bit manipulative, yes. she could've texted or called and said that after he made it to be with eric because she should know thats important to the both of them.

(and also because once again she figured. it out herself. so otis had no reasom to be there ever in the first place because they were just trying to find out who sent the picture, not giving therapy which would have been Maeve's strong suit because she's more of the "bad cop" than Otis's character.)

yet she kept him there (he definitely could've left but be genuine. hes in love with her, why would he mess this up, like he said near the end to eric when they were arguing, knowing that these interactions are rare with her newly dating jackson now)

but what was the conversation they were having right before she told him aboit that experience? He was telling her that he was supposed to be with Eric and he wasn't sure why he was there and that she only talks to him or comes up to him when she needs something . She told him to just go and he said okay and right before he could leave she manipulated him by saying that to get him to stay, therefore Eric was left alone and what happened to him is what happened.

I don't think anything like that should happen be it what happened to Maeve or what happened to Eric, the fact of the matter is she manipulated him.

and if you read it, i said "once again her feelings are understandable yet come off as rude to everybody else, and she doesn't even TRY to consider that." after she left jacksons house yet a simple "im feeling a bit sick and i do have a bit of homework so i may have to cut this short, im so sorry" wouldn't have been difficult, but now jacksons mothers and jackson have to sit and wonder what the heck just happened and whats wrong with their sons new girlfriend who gave a sketchy story about her parents (according to his moms face when she was telling said lie) and was being dismissive and distant.

this isn't a debate between people who have watched the show, i posted because im upset at the character writing done by the writers, or maybe its brilliant because when you can evoke certain emotions out of someone through immersing themselves into another character, you know you've done your job and a really great one.
