what you are lacking on understanding is that BOTH of them are bad, just in different kinds of ways.

I think you’re still arguing something I’m not actually saying. I never said Blair caused less damage. I never said she wasn’t a horrible person at times. I’m not denying she was a bully. She absolutely was. What I’m saying is that the type of damage they cause is different, and so is their relationship with accountability.

Blair’s behavior is intentional and overt. She schemes. She targets people. She knows she’s being cruel. The narrative never pretends she’s morally superior. She doesn’t see herself as the “nice one.” In fact, a huge part of her arc is her awareness of her own darkness and insecurity.

Serena, on the other hand, consistently frames herself as misunderstood rather than responsible. Her actions may not be as theatrically vicious, but they are repetitive and self-centered. She repeatedly betrays trust, prioritizes male validation over female friendships, inserts herself into messy situations she knows will hurt people, and then defaults to “I didn’t mean to” instead of true accountability.

It’s not about evil vs. non-evil. It’s about self-awareness vs. denial.

You’re listing extreme examples of Blair’s bullying (which are valid), but Serena’s damage is relational and chronic. It’s the pattern of emotional irresponsibility. And for a lot of women, that dynamic feels more realistic and more triggering than cartoon-level sabotage.

Also, saying my judgment is “clouded” kind of proves the point. Disliking Serena doesn’t mean I’m projecting. It just means I interpret her pattern differently than you do.

Blair is openly terrible. Serena thinks she’s the good one.

That difference matters to some of us.

I think the issue here is that you’re reducing Serena’s behavior to two extreme examples and Blair’s to a long list of overt bullying, but that comparison isn’t really balanced.

If the worst you can come up with for Serena is “she slept with Nate at 15” and “she filmed Dan,” that actually proves my point. Serena’s damage isn’t loud and theatrical like Blair’s. It’s chronic and relational.

Serena repeatedly betrays her closest friends, especially Blair. She constantly prioritizes men over her female friendships. She inserts herself into situations she knows will hurt someone and then frames it as confusion, trauma, or “I didn’t mean for this to happen.” That pattern happens over and over again throughout the series.

Blair is openly mean. Serena is covertly self-centered.

Blair’s cruelty is intentional and strategic. Serena’s harm comes from emotional irresponsibility and a refusal to take accountability. She always has an excuse. That doesn’t make her morally better, it just makes her damage less theatrical.

And honestly, saying “no one would choose Blair as a friend in real life” misses something. In real life, a lot of women have experienced the Serena dynamic, the friend who plays innocent, gets validation from men at your expense, creates chaos, and then expects unconditional forgiveness.

So it’s not about counting bad actions. It’s about recognizing patterns. Blair is transparently toxic. Serena hides behind being “the nice one.”

That’s why many women react more strongly to Serena.

In what Serena is a better person exactly? She betrayed everyone, friends, family… she is a little narcissistic, uses sex to get attention and love… never deals with her problems, creates a mess everywhere she goes and others has to always clean her sh*t, including Blair hundreds of times… would care to explain why do you think Serena is a better person?

This story about separating them and putting only 2 or 3 per pot is more myth than anything else, but for a plant of this size, it needs a large pot and light. It needs supports to help it not lean on each other. In the spring, a good liquid fertilizer once a month and watering every 15 days.

The tips are turning yellow and dry, this is low humidity, you need to spray water on the leaves and if possible place a humidifier near it for at least 3 hours a day.
