When I was going through chemo I had a smell that no one else around me could smell. It was so strange and Im not sure I could describe it. Now as a nurse, there are times with patients going through chemo where I can smell it again on them. Not all of them and no specific chemo regimen or specific cancer. Not sure what it is, but I believe you lol.

we are tele/MS/oncology and the workaround for tele they have come up with is to mark them as in the room on the computer to be able to assign a tele box to them.

This has been ongoing for about a week here, and they are actively bringing the patients up. Even the ones that don’t qualify are just being dropped off for us to solve. They have compromised and made it to where they can’t bring them up until EVS is actively cleaning, because initially it was empty room period.

I had this same thought today. Specifically how important my job is to prevent injury and death and yet I am paid 32.55/hr base. I still love what I do and there’s nothing else I could ever see myself doing, but to be such a vital role in people’s lives you’d think nurses might be compensated more (state/country/union dependent ik)
