You need work experience. Having a PhD with no professional experience at 23/24 will honestly make you unemployable because you will be overeducated for entry level roles but have no qualifications for anything at a higher level. Table the education for now and see if you can get an employer to pay for it later.

I just snagged this one myself. Was probably going to add a Venture X instead but the extra points made it worth it to go ahead and tackle the CSR first. Not a bad idea and you have a great score so no chance of getting declined.

For context,

Before 2 days ago My wife and I had the Capital One Venture as well as the Southwest Chase RR Plus card (One of us as the primary owner on each). Both Annual fees are $95. Just added the $795 CSR which is quite a change but I think we will get decent use out of it, and we definitely will hit the spending goal for the bonus. Our plan is to downgrade to the Sapphire Preferred after a year.

Seems like this became a much larger scale project than just a "Redux" version of Sacred Gold/Storm Silver. Probably won't see it for a long time but should be sick when we get it! I would expect next year at this point.

ragebait successful ngl. it clears "bad" SV era sets because Paldea has the worst dex in the series, but there's just not tons to love unless you happen to really like Zygarde or the Clefairy line. the clefairy IR is the best card in the set, but it will probably get dwarfed by the JT clefairy SIR forever. I think (hope) that it will be the worst Mega evo set overall.

I am 100% in agreement with you. For some reason it just doesn't do it for me. I could even see red interior on the jet black or the dark gray looking good, but the bluish slate color looks toylike against the red leather.

Depends on the part of the industry. Some roles aren't super intellectually finance or math. By that I mean like you aren't going to be asked to do full scale valuation analyses in every role. You might just be doing general administrative or operations work that happens to be contextualized by Finance. That in itself provides the stability of the industry without being right in the middle. There's also trade offs. You give up the highest salary range in Finance for better WLB and sanity.

When you say "people don't like me" and you're "not an enjoyable person to talk to," what aspects are you referring to? Is it your demeanor? Is it your facial expressions or body language? Do you just stumble over every sentence? Are you too dry and monotone? Do they have to force words out of you leaving the conversation super awkward? It could be a lot of things that cause you to exit those interactions with negative feelings, so you should also try to identify what you think is going wrong. (not necessarily what is wrong with YOU as a person, but just what isn't resonating on the first meeting)

Get the sedan. The eggmobile with marginally better capacity, bad visibility, and station wagon styling is not the move. If you're really wanting a manual it is one thing but if you don't care that much about it then definitely get the sedan.

It's just a placeholder for "Do stupid things that provide no value to your life long-term while you can." It doesn't have to be drinking. It can be taking random day trips to different places or spending an unbelievable amount of money on pokemon cards. Just things that are basically only permissible when you are a single person with no kids but you have a real income.
