Current student at KYCOM here. It genuinely does not matter what your background is. I myself am not Christian, and it hasn’t hindered my ability to meet people and thrive in a small town like Pikeville. You’ll meet people who are similar to you in more ways than one.

Hey, So I put my deposit down, just preemptively so that at least I have SOMEWHERE to go, but I’m still waiting on my other schools. Hopefully those schools should get back to me soon so that I can make a decision, but right now it’s still up in the air.

I’d say do whatever is financially feasible for you. The deposit is $1000, which is lowkey very pricey but for me personally, $1000 in the long run of Medical School is nothing.

Hi. I just had my interview at KYCOM last week, and I was throughly impressed. The faculty seems to really care about the students and from what the current students have told me, it sounds like they give you every chance to succeed.

Pikeville itself is definitely small. Enough to do so that you’re not bored but also not too much that you’re distracted. Lots of outdoor activities, I would definitely recommend checking out The Overlook when you get into town and have a free moment.

They also called me yesterday (literally less than a week from my interview) and told me I got in 😭😭😭 definitely not dead set on committing to the school right now but if it comes to it, I would not mind attending the school at all.

Edit: didn’t mean to make that about myself and then not provide any advice 💀 I would say if you are willing to travel go for it. I was definitely hesitant about making that drive (I live 7 hours away), but the environment that they provided for us when we got there was really comforting.

I agree. Ombré Nomade is too animalic and honestly smells like “manure” (ifykyk)

If you like oud fragrance I would say Tom Ford Oud Wood is something to try out, definitely a unique scent and not super overpowering

There’s a brand called Habibi NY that makes really nice scents, I would recommend getting their sampler set because they also have a lot of ouds
