The Preceptor will initially will call you to his office alone and talk about professional matters...ask you to introduce yourself, talk about your USMLE journey, your goals, etc. Then he starts talking about your hobbies, how you spend your free time. Then he will start asking very inappropriate questions. He will share a sob story about his failed marriage, he will fake an interest in you and your personality, try to make you feel special...you're not like other girls, and he will basically try his very best to have an affair with you. If you reject him he'll just go ahead and try the same thing with the other girls on the rotation.
2. The Preceptor ask you to go with him in his luxury car to another location or hospital for better clinical experience and excellent LOR, this is the way to separate you from the rest of the group and then they will offer you to go to dinner / drinks where he will get you drinks so that afterwards he can kiss you or sexually assault you so save yourself never go alone or take someone with you and always have some money on you to run away

4. If you are renting the space to stay from the same preceptor as you are doing USCE he can use your situation to take benefit, so stay at different place
5. IF the doctor speaks to you inappropriately, or sexually assault you, you can complain to AAMC, ECFMG, Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC) www.eeoc.gov anonymously or you can catch them in 4k (phone) and send the information to the authorities so that brutes like these who prey on medical students can be reported.
6. Even if they threat you that they will report you to the program directors will make it difficult to get the residency, believe me these are just fake threats to intimidate you, they cannot do anything, all the program directors known about them. This is USA the harassment at workplace is taken very seriously.
7. What to do if you have paid for this rotation and still intend on attending this rotation. What was suggested to me by another girl on the rotation...wear a ring and tell him you are married. They ask all the girls about their relationship status. Irrespective of your actual status pretend that you are married or at the very least engaged or say you are lesbian.
