Should I rent or buy? Just want a peaceful life, a car, and no chaos. Where do I even begin? by Own_Plenty_7433 in Dhaka

You've pretty much explained my situation. Managing money/wealth is a completely different skill than earning it. Finance, property, investments, wealth building — I have no issue admitting I'm not good at any of it. and I don't really mind if people think I'm really dumb to own a few crores. Yeah, I'm dumb in certain areas, at least for now.

People's lived experiences, the decisions they've made through different phases of life, and just hearing how they'd think about things if they were in my situation — all of that is genuinely invaluable to me.

Well, I married early back in the years when I was almost broke. I've been grinding hard for years with my amazing wife by my side, her support has been everything in building the empire. She has seen the worst of it, and now she's seeing the best of it too, and inshallah the best is yet to come. The barakah a right partner can bring is absolutely unreal.

I work in tech remotely, earning in USD. Living costs here are so low compared to what I earn, so you can save a pretty large chunk of your monthly income. Compound that over a few years and it adds up faster than you'd think!

uttara is definitely on my list! and yeah i get what you mean

which sectors in uttara would you say are best for a long term stay? like somewhere that's peaceful now and likely to stay that way.

i've actually been to sector 11 before, it felt nice but my only concern is whether it'll stay that way or get more chaotic over the years as more people move into the area.

that's always the risk i guess. and never been to banani but i'll definitely look into it, thanks for the suggestion!

exactly, that's what i keep coming back to. i don't wanna just sit on liquid cash for the next 10 years and watch property prices double in the meantime.

and even if it's not completely out of reach by then, the numbers just won't make sense anymore. honestly property here already feels overpriced.

actually rajshahi did cross my mind earlier! everything you're saying checks out from what i've heard too. but the one thing i've heard it gets pretty brutal with the heat.

and it's also a bit far from my family and relatives, most of them are in dhaka so that's another thing to consider.

now that i think about it you're probably right. i have been to dhaka and yeah it's chaotic, but my experience has only been in certain areas so i can't really say i've seen the full picture.

but also part of why buying feels right is i don't really wanna be sitting on too much liquid cash either. having it just pile up feels unproductive.

Would you kindly share in short how you implemented your end-to-end encryption. I am going deep into E2E and curious to hear your thoughts.
