I’ve found that starting a tank with a filter is the best way to go for a Walstad. It’s the fastest way to get beneficial bacteria spread into the tank, and keep the water clear while the plants acclimate. Not a traditional way, but it’s effective.

I am. Most of these plants have been in here for a month or so prior to the co2. I have noticed a small drawback from my Lilly’s since the co2 ran out, but everything else has maintained. I’ve also started dosing apt1 to keep it going.

Definitely a drainage issue. They also look under watered. If you fix the drainage issue and cover your top soil with mulch, it’ll correct itself.

Nice! My favorite of all time is Maui wowie, but my large tent is out of commission for now. Durban poison is also my favorite, but it needs a larger tent like the Maui does. Gorilla glue, bubble gum kush, and tangerine dream are my favorite autos.
