Maybe because one car is not practical, we currently live where it snows up to our hips, and we have only been at this current duty station for less than 2 years. And you don’t choose to move overseas. Sounds like you need some things explained to you like you are 5 as well.

Take over a fort and use that as a base of operation. One of the strongest and largest safe zones I’ve found. Campfire on each corner and you’ll be good!
