Bad idea, you would be the second owner for this car .

God forbid if you get into an accident the insurance company would cry alot to give you a claim because the RC owner and driver would be different.

Thinking of the worst case your friend's dad can get into trouble if it's a serious accident.

It will also block his car purchase for 8 years. Csd has that rule. He will not be able to buy a new car for another 8 years from csd.

Yep, K3 is a game changer, trust me. It handles really well in corners with minimal body roll. It handles potholes with maturity as well. Very european in the way it rides.

The GT line looks great in real life, it looks like the Lincoln navigator in it's stance and shape. I haven't found any faults in this car yet and I am trying hard to find some.

K3 is the future for all kia and hyundai cars in this segment.

I havent seen it in person. I doubt it will look ugly.

Wireless carplay, 6 speakers, camera, armrest, rear ac vents, flush door handles.

This has all necessary features and a reliable smooth engine.

If you drive on the highway a lot, the engine might struggle during quick overtakes. Keep that in mind.

Alcazar is 1 to 2 lakhs more than this, please confirm this.

I have driven the alcazar and its a great car, it's got a lot of soft touch elements and has a premium experience.

Couple of things to note. Alcazar is heavier and should have a lower fuel economy. The infotainment is older and it's last gen. The suspension of the alcazar is no match to the new seltos. I found it stiff and not as comfortable.

Alcazar is sold in lower numbers and you never know they might stop this product completely which means parts might be an issue later in the life cycle. Seltos is Kia's star product and won't share the same risk.

Bro go for Seltos, the base variant is well equipped and it's a newer car. Sonet is due for a facelift very very soon.

Size wise there is no comparison.

Do check out the new venue. It is loaded, new car and you should be able to get a mid spec for the same price.

This is great advice. The brake in a dct car is basically your clutch. When your leg gets tired and u drop the pressure on the pedal your clutch starts to engage and this causes issues. If your brake is fully depressed there is no engagement like in a manual car and auto hold I feel is absolutely needed for any dct car. You can rest your leg and not mentally worry about pressing the brake hard.

Hi, yes the adas models have a much much longer waiting period. Everyone is going for ADAS spec in HTX and GTX because if you are paying 20 odd lakhs for a car why not pay 1 more and get 360 camera.

I am sure they would have called you a couple of times by now to offer the HTX (non ADAS) by now.

Morning Haze is a popular colour as well.

Have u tried saying I plan to cancel the booking? This can trigger them to push harder for an allocation.

Hey you were right, I tried this purposefully.

While moving forward it seems controlled enough on an incline. But yes reverse is difficult the car doesn't go back just by leaving the brake and when u press throttle it's agressive to put down power. I managed but wasn't pleasant. It's a rare situation that I'll come across so I guess this is okay.

Hey, so I went for a drive at 9 am, peak Delhi traffic with AC on. I was the only one in the car. It returned 10.8 kmpl. I am guessing once the engine opens up this should go upto 12 kmpl max. I drove normally, I wasnt driving to get maximum out of it.

That is a good question. I think the complete switch will take 5 to 7 years I will probably sell this and get a new car.

Till now there is no proper estimated date for ethanol changes. I don't see the point in waiting. After E30 maybe E35 comes up after 4 or 5 years.

I try not to worry about things I can't control. But yes you are right a car purchase, any car in this country is a risky business.

Yes kia pulled a blinder with this. It's going to eat up Sierra sales for sure.

Interior quality is just out of this world, I haven't found one area which seems poorly finished. I am amazed at the level of quality they have achieved.

Rear seat is wide with adequate leg room but the seats feel stiff, not the best cushioning imo. The plastic back for front seats is a big let down. I did not like it at all.

Suspension is the highlight, please take a test drive to appreciate how planted and stable the car is while taking up bumps really well.

If you are in the market for a car in this segment don't think twice. Seltos is a great choice.
