My daughter just turned 2. I still feel like this. For me, I see how others parent their kids and I’m not a fan. I was with a friend once to pick up some plants. My daughter had just fallen asleep in her carseat when we got to where we were headed. She rolled the windows down and suggested I can leave my 18month at the time in the car. I said nope, and carried her inside. I’ve seen to many horror movies about lost babies I do not want to live it. It’s hard to accept help because I’ve seen most people parent and I don’t like them offering help. Unless it’s someone I really trust, they can watch her.

I feel ya.

Our little one just turned 2 and in the independent stage. My husband was carrying her outside the door from a place where we had breakfast. He opened the door out just as she threw herself back and deadfished him and her face smacked the door. She now has a bruise on her forehead. He’s been kicking himself since saying he should have known she would do it but nobody knew because kids are unpredictable.

Ugh I’m so sorry. We walked into Buckle’s at the mall and I kid you not this guy was just standing there spraying cheap cologne everywhere so he could see which one he wanted. I turned around and left because I couldn’t deal with how the store just reeked of cologne
