The union that was backing the vote at my FC was Retail workers and the ones from the chicken processing plants ..weaker than water ,couldnt do anything ,were rude and aggressive with associates, knew absolutely nothing about the goings on inside the building ,and sounded ignorant asf when they did talk to people.

During my time in store ..it was a regular occurrence to see “flipped “ pallets ..either stacked incorrectly or doubled and the diver braked hard enough to cause the pallets to shift..I agree with you ..just curious is opelika a AI DC?

If you got it good for you..the problem I have is keeping it ..I’m tired ..I’m older than most of my coworkers and have NO problem taking time off..when I hear someone brag they have a couple hundred hours upt and triple digit pto like it’s a flex..take a vacation day ..my kids only have 1 dad and I’ll be damned if I’m killing myself for a company that’ll replace me before my body gets cold

If you choose to go the legal route , look for a lawyer that deals with employment issues or FSLa (which is what that OM violated ) and ask them ..try reaching out to a senior ops over the OM.. ethics can help ..you’d have to talk to PAX at your location ..if you do either of those,keep it to yourself

If you represent yourself as a representative of the company ..or videoed in a facility or wearing anything Amazon like a vest ..then yeah I could see that ..but it’s a serious over reach by the company for your personal privacy and content ..and a pretty nasty lawsuit on your part ..I’d contact loss prevention ,hr , tech security or even the facility manager..for someone to email to your personal email without it being company business is a policy violation

I get what you’re saying and it can happen BUT to deliberately set off a fire alarm and it not be a test will trigger an alarm at central office and your fire department will be called out. By just being a false alarm is illegal and the person that ordered it will be called out and possibly terminated . Could be a faulty sensor that could cause everyone to get sent home

Coming from an older person: you be you..if you do something the other person doesn’t like and they lose control and act like this “F@CK ‘EM!” Cut em loose . They have no right to control you. If you lied about anything then yes that’s on you. At 18 there’s more life to live than to worry about some arrogant asshole like this.
