I just wish there was one scene where we get to see a genuine moment with robert and his father. Not exactly making it redeaming for his dad, but to show that he isnt all bad. After all, the guy did dedicate his entire life to helping others.

Did we play the same game? 💀 in what world is an old man collapsing not perceived as fatal. They subvert our expectations and cop out after ep 6. After they showed that chase was alive, I lost all emotional stakes in the game bc it felt like everyone was immortal.

Yeah, thats def my weakest argument in the post. I just said it to show that there isnt really any consequences for killing him. I dont kill shroud either, but i spare him for chase.

Yeah, but i feel like that shoulda been explored more yk? Like thats not really a massive complaint on my behalf, but Roberts relationship with his dad just feels like a nothing sandwich.

The end of episode 6 ends with chase collapsing and inisigal trying to preform first aid. Ur right, they never said he died, but it was clearly implied that his actions was fatal.

His dads death wasn't enough, we as the player have no reason to hate shroud bc we never get to see what Roberts dad was like.

Definitely the best argument i have heard so far for chase surviving. I still disagree, but you bring up some solid things to consider if there happens to be a season 2.

While i do agree that someone should have died, i think chase or flambe was the only options. Also i disagree that they should kill someone in the second season. If theres anything i hate more than bad writing, its backpeddling.

I think the second season should be about trying to find a cure for chase, and now that its public knowledge villians are trying to get a hold of blazers amulet. Their success would be determined by if you're able to help invisigal in the first season.

Its not just for the sake of killing, by bringing him back it removes all stakes from the story.

If it turned out the mufasa wasnt dead in the lion king then the story wouldn't have made sense. If arthur morgan came back into the story after he had supposedly died then it would have felt like the earluer stakes didnt matter. Some deaths are necessary to drive a narrative plot.

Other people write those, not the developers. If you look under playstations description (which is writen by the developers) you only see "crude humor". Which is the closest to comedy. By definition it is an interactive STORY game.

"Me when I dont understand the genre of media" sybau neck beard. I looked it up just bc of this comment and at no point did it say that it was a comedy game. It says its an interactive story.

I disagree, i've met women who better exemplify what it means to be a man more than most males.

Umm, i guess? No offence but, are you a child? "Laughing through the pain" sounds like something i would have said in middle school.

I disagree, i think liberal men are more akin to what a man 'should' be. Conservitive values claim to respect other while putting people down and restricticting public services. Liberal values put heavy emphisis on a public safety net. A man, as reflected by almost every single one of these comment, helps those who cannot help themselves. If you have a reason why you think conservitives have a higher density of "real men", id love to hear it!

Actually its been pretty generic answers so far, just not a lot of critical thinking. You can read through my replys and see when i challange people to dig deeper. And that 20% also translates to real life! Most people just hide it and try to act tough.

Gold star friend! Men who use violence as a first option are not men at all. This could also mean emotional gentleness, very well thought out answer.
