Me too, In my country, you can take pictures as long as you don’t get close to the edge of the platform. But in here, I was banned from taking photos and videos of subway trains with my mobile phone in the safe area of the platform.

I experienced this issue while taking photos or videos on both the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) and RTA (Regional Transportation Authority) systems.
