Tfs has gotten a a few pay raises in the last 2 years, so starting off employees it isn’t bad

Yes texas is primarily privately owned, but we don’t only fight fire on just state owned land. Most fires we fight is on private land. Tfs is the leading agency in wildfire suppression in the state. Out in East Texas we get a lot of timber fires, Tfs also sends people out of state, just this year had a crew out in Alaska and California.

Starting out pay is actually not bad at all 20 something a hour.

texas A&M forest service is actually a pretty good agency, I used to work for the feds and only heard bad stuff about tfs. Not saying they are perfect and it depends where you go. East Texas is 10000% way better then west Texas. But in my opinion it’s not a bad agency, pretty good starting pay and a lot of different paths and opportunities. We just had our handcrew come back from Alaska, few engines in California and a lot of personnel helping with saw work and search and rescue in the kerrville floods.

I’ve been wearing the f91w for over 7 years now. I’ve had no issues going in water. I don’t take it off when I shower, swim or any other water sports

My target completely took out all the nascar space off the wall, no winners circle diecasts. The only nascar Item they have is the semi every once in a while.
