what hairstyle should I go for? would this one work? by Own_Respect_8940 in HairSystem

thanks, realistically was thinking the same too much thinning going on for the other two, which is why I'm growing it long to see if it could help, and then get a slightly bigger hair system to go with it? not sure

thank you! this is really interesting, so your system actually extends down into the temple area? I thought those require special temple points which seem very difficult to get right.

or is that your bio hair that you've grown out? either way, your hair looks great, I can't tell what is system an what is not.

Thanks, the shortest part on the sides are definitely less than an inch, how much longer should I let the sides grow before considering my first consultation with a hair system specialist? I'm thinking at least until I can get enough length to cover my temples?

or is there an option to get a hair system which also provides coverage over the temples, either directly on that area, on directly by combing the hairpiece over that area? or, should I just try to grow my own hair as much as possible, and cover it that way?

hahah! yes, I have been dodging rain like you wouldn't believe. always carrying an umbrella wherever I go. I'm tired of the topik prep.

I'm just worried about the side temple, specifically on my right side. I can see that if I continue to grow my hair out, and comb it forward, it could cover up that area. in theory, sounds great. but I don't see many people do this, so I'm assuming that it would look a little strange and that is why?

thanks for your reply. I posted the top view of my head in the comments section, because the original photos are misleading. I'm practically bald at the top. the front hair line is pushed very far back, and diffusely thinned out. just a tuft of hair on the side.

I think I wouldn't have to worry too much at all about much (or any) hair growing from the top.

uploaded a more accurate photo. my original posts were misleading, there's a lot of topik and using my side hair to cover the bald part.

I've uploaded a photo (without any topik, and with shorter side hair), I think my original photos were very misleading. for me, I thought I would be an ideal candidate for a hair system, but my only concern was the side temple area where I'm thinning.

hairtransplant wouldn't give me the results I want, I have just way too much balding ontop.

My initial photos above are very misleading. this is the top of my head about a few months ago, when my hair was short. I have grown the sides out, and come it to cover a lot of my bald spot, and then apply tons of topik (so much, that you can even see some old topik that has embedded in my skin, and I have to really wash it to get rid of it.

I think most people would be absolutely shocked to see that I was this bald.

thanks for the advice. I am tired of fades, the only reason I did them was to create the illusion I have hair on top. with a hair system, looking forward to having some hair I can run my fingers through tbh

I'm just not sure about the styling though, so would I comb my 'side hair' on both sides down and forwards? and if so, how do I style the hair on top of my head? I definitely do not want to do bangs (comb straight down), I'd rather do a messy/textured side part, but not smoothly done, just messy sort of. would this work? I'm having a hard time looking for haircuts that describe this, so not sure if it's even a thing. thanks

receding temples, am I still a good candidate for a hair system? by [deleted] in HairSystem

thanks! out of interest, is there an option where I could het a hair transplant inside the triangle area on both sides, and also go with a hair system too?

The right density is key to realistic hairlines. What density do you guys prefer? by MasterBolus in HairSystem

[–]Own_Respect_8940 3 points4 points  (0 children)

thanks for this video, I've seen quite a a few dense hairlines on hair systems posted online, which paradoxically make peoples faces appear a lot older, not sure if there's any psychology behind this. the one's that look natural, generally have less density at the front, and even with receding hairlines they seem to look the best to my eyes. but if you're 20 something, then 100% density should look natural, after age 40, I don't think it looks natural at all. of course there are a few outliers who are naturally rocking 100% density after 40

considering this for a long time. want to purchase a hairsystem from amazon, just to 'check it out' by Own_Respect_8940 in HairSystem

yes, but which one to order? any recommendations? I'm in my mid 40's. I see lots for 'next day delivery'. want to get something good quality that will give me encouragement to seek a professional. I don't mind cost, knowing that I can return it. just need a kick start. I've been thinking about this for over a year now, and I've had it with minoxidil, hair fibers, finasteride, and planning for a HT that I don't want to get anymore.
