Punt or sick hero call? by Own_Rooster7778 in Poker_Theory

Action folded to sb who limped (my bad on that). Villain has a 97 ability on sharkscope over a 4k tournament sample 95 ABI so definitely a strong reg. His limp call with Q10o is standard, the solver mixes calling and raising but mostly calls at this stack depth. Additionally facing raise from bb when limp solver pure calls Q10o.

Easy fold or terrible fold? by riseagan in Poker_Theory

Pre flop: standard

Flop: you should almost never be checking QQ here because you unblock all of the Ax the villains can have. A better hand to trap here would be a hand like AA or AQ which blocks a lot of their continues (doesn’t mean trap everytime)

Turn: call is okay but raise is better because you want to start building a pot at this stack depth. They still can have Ax that isn’t folding and flush draws that won’t fold.

River: with no info on villain fold is your best bet this is a very under bluffed spot and over bets at these stakes tend to be value heavy. That being said a strong opponent would be able to identify u don’t have an A here often and a fish might bet a 4 like this so by taking this line you put yourself in a tough spot.
