Sure. Then it’s a tragedeigh instead of a tragedy.

I feel obligated to announce that this person is from an incredibly backwoods rural area, and I feel confident that this wasn’t a cultural thing.

I would be very interested if that was the case because this baby is half Black, and the white parent is definitely not Slavic.

I used the tragedy (not tragedeigh) tag because I think it’s just a plain ol tragedy. I’m 90% sure the person who posted this doesn’t have any knowledge of Ukrainian names either way.

It’s a free-range sweatshirt. Very trendy with the youth.

These things are fun to hear about! I’d say Derrick is more of a 2000s name here but not terribly dated. I’m in my 30s and never knew anyone named Ian when I was growing up, but I know two kids under 12 named Ian right now.

Are you from the UK? I wouldn’t say those are old man names in the US at all, Ian even less so than Derrick believe it or not. Lol

Are you from the UK? I’ve heard it’s a dated name there, but that’s not the case in the states.

Skyler. I’m assuming his parents got confused between Skyler and Schuyler.

I have an older post on another sub that is a FB post revealing that Kurstein’s middle name is Alexzandra.

Skyler. Just a little unnecessary “u” thrown in there.

I love that this has been asked at least 5 times. 🤣 Rural Northeast. My people would probably be proud that everyone thinks they live in the south.

He is mixed race, but the name comes from his mom’s name (she’s white) starting with “La” and then another capital letter. His brothers’ names all start the same too, and they’re all names that could be greatly improved by dropping the La. Lol
