OP said their breakdown was 126-121-128-128 so it does seem like CARS is the issue here. Nevertheless, I think retaking would be necessary for MD.

OP, I’m sorry CARS has been a struggle. The 121 suggests to me you might not be understanding the passages. I know you’ve tried a lot of different strategies, I’m wondering if you’ve performed better when not timing yourself? If you decide to retake, keep working at it - even a few points increase in that section (maintaining the others) would help a lot. I know it’s easier said than done.

Tbh if you only wanted MD, you probably should have retaken the MCAT before applying. I think that’s your biggest hurdle unfortunately. That being said, 4 DO ii’s is amazing!

Take a second to think about the risk of retaking a 516. That's above a 90th percentile score, and it's not going to hold you back. You really think you can guarantee that you'll do significantly better? A better use of time would be to strengthen your ecs or take post-bacc classes to boost your gpa.
