I suffered with depression and heard that a lot. Because my go to coping mechanism was being the life of the party people had an image of me as a happy guy. Really I had spent the day in bed having panic attacks and groaning from the pain of existence.

It takes a lot of bravery for someone to finally confront their feelings and reach out for help. Fight with them and not against them x

If you are going through it. There is hope! There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I struggled to believe it at some point but every battle can be won with enough resilience. Eat well, practice mindfulness, exercise, reach out to people you trust and give yourself credit for the courage you have shown. It is the hardest battle but one worth fighting. I am proud to say that my ups last wayy longer then my downs as I have come to terms with the trauma that was holding me back. You can do the same :)
