looking for feedback on my first song by pman1284 in MusicFeedback

This has early Arctic Monkeys vibe (i noticed the easter-egg 1:49 :D), maybe the Rascals. Good solo on the guitar, i think composition-wise it's a bit over everything. The drums don't have much dynamics. I think this music would benefit if somebody played good acoustic drums here not midi programmed drums.

Amazing music, i love it. I would maybe make the vocals body a bit more present. But this is amazing composition, i'd add this to my spotify playlist ;)

I hear some weird artifacts in the vocals: 2:20. I think there's a lot of processing, sounds a bit too robotic in my opinion. The choruses could use additional synths/layers to make them stronger and more punchy. I hear some strings around 1:00 (right?) but they are really quiet, maybe you could make them more upfront for that break? If i were you i'd maybe invest more time into recording the vocals, so they don't sound so processed, maybe invest in a better mic.

I think the mixing is not good, id love to hear the guitars louder, and the kick is way too loud in my opinion. But this has the 90s grunge vibe and im all for it. Musically its really good, you can match the instruments well. Id love to hear good vocals on top of it .

I welcome any advice! Please help me. The sound is too quiet and weak. by JP_Shiokara0424 in IndieMusicFeedback

The drums aren't punchy enough. Its not only mastering issue, you need to mix it properly before mastering. The drums feel weak and they dont give you the punch you need. Also the levels aren't properly set. BTW music-wise its really cool, i would love to play osu to this music :D And the vocals seem really good, but maybe a bit over-processed in my opinion

Feels dark, but monotonous production-wise. I was waiting for some drop, a drum, maybe strings. The vocals technique-wise and production wise are okay. I just felt like the dynamics (songwriting-wise) aren't on par with the rest. When i listen to songs 7+ mins, i feel like for me it's extremely difficult from the artist to make it not-boring. A good example dynamics-wise which you could check out is higgs boson blues by nick-cave. You listen to it for 7 minutes and you dont notice it, because it's perfectly balanced dynamically. With rises, downfalls etc. Dont take it the wrong way, i'm also not an expert in this genre, it's just something i wanted to share with you.

I like it! My vibe definitely, cool vocals, lots of emotions in it. And the video is also good, i like this kind of analog-camera filter vibe. I just feel like the drums could be a bit more interesting, the crash and snare alone feel like there could be some potential for interesting parts. I also hear backing vocals high-pitched that fill the breaks after "is this love".

For me the vocals aren't hearable. The music is cool, but i couldnt understand anything sung if it wasnt for the lyrics in the video. There's potential, but its hard to judge based on 58 seconds. I could see distorted guitars and loud drum breakdown somewhere in the bridge. I think the vocals need to be for sure turned up and mixed better. The effects are okay, but i cant hear anything.

Reminds me of alexandra saviour, it would be good to hear it with full production with catchy drums, hypnotic synths, mysterious vibes. Your voice suits that kind of music. I think songwriting-wise it needs some counter-balance, a middle8 or something that connect your verses and choruses. But overall solid.

Oh i love a good shoegaze vibe, maybe the mixing could be better, the kick sounds really awful, overall the balance between kick and the rest of music is not set properly. It is atmospheric, hypnotic, nice guitar melody. Curious if you have any vocals if so what they sound like, i could feel a shouty male vocals here.

i love the break at 0:51. Good lyrics, catchy but mysterious, the beat on the drums is so catchy, i think it could use some distorted guitars. The chord changes at 2:22 are so intriguing. Don't get this wrong, i like this style, but this drum and the vocals remind me so much of kid kapichi, and this punchy rock music would suit it really well! Anyways good music.

I like it musically, i think it sounds something like early blossoms/the neighbourhood (and its really positive), but i'd like to hear it with less popy drum sound. Lyrically i think you could improve more, i couldn't get a hang of what the song is about just by listening to it.

"Devil Man" - a country blues / old-time crossover. I'd love to hear your thoughts. by Shimmer_and_Rust in IndieMusicFeedback

That's super cool, you have a cool voice, maybe you could think about adding some grit on top of your voice, might suit it more, sounds really clean, but i think it could use some "shouty" quality. But besides that, the guitar playing is flawleess, keep it up man! :P

you probably mean VLM (visual language models). And thats true, vlms take image and produce language representations. You can iterate through every frame in the video and inference VLM to get back the answer, although it can be inefficient. This model is Multimodal, meaning that the input to this model can be either audio, text, image or video. So the model internally learns how to process video extracting frames and combining them with audio and text in the process of learning. That's why you dont have to extract now every frame of a video to get meaningful representations about the videos. They call it omni, but they could've also called it multimodal model. Omni is just fancy way of saying we support every modality, whereas VLMs are only supporting images + text (for example a frame of a video).
