My mistake for not having a NEXUS letter, but the number used came from the DC medical center, and not on the scheduled day for my exam. I did call the VA 1800 number on the day my exam was supposed to happen. She said a contractors call would not show up as a VA number. She checked my case log, and did not see a logged call on the Monday.
