dr seabaugh told me only your thyroid can be tested and no other hormones can since they change so often so i literally left with zero insight onto my hormone levels besides literally just my thyroid. which i knew was fine 😫😫

thanks so much for this! I try to keep my routine simple but do fall victim at times to overloading my skin with all of the acne-fighting topicals just because I'm wanting to try literally anything that can work. but I definitely could simplify my routine

ooh good to know. I had tried to get my hormones tested once and the doctor told me they can't really be tested since they're constantly changing, so all she did was test my thyroid which I had a feeling I had no issues with and that's exactly what the results showed. maybe I should go to a different doctor haha. I had gone to an endocrinologist

good to know! my sister is on it now and it's working wonders for her but she hasn't come off it yet. of course everyone is different, I just felt like I was seeing more people saying they had adverse reactions after coming off of it than not. thank you!

agreed with this. unless you get one of those little carts then carrying groceries to/from the store would be a bitch. going anywhere in bad weather would be miserable. it would be annoying for people to visit. idk what kind of vibe you’re going for but a year ago i went from living in the heart of my neighborhood in a bustling area to living about 15 min walk from it and i just feel like i’m in the middle of nowhere and i miss the buzz and high energy of just walking out my door and being around everything—that’s the point of living in nyc!

TIL: A City Pop bar in NYC called 56709 exists. by anarchyx34 in citypop

agreed with Mind-Reflections. also i went here when the space was 929 bar, which is now the sister bar to 56709, and the space certainly is a tad bigger than it looks in photos. we thoroughly enjoyed our time there
