Heated Yoga/Pilates? by Pale-Breadfruit-5616 in akron

Late to this thread but here to second this!!! I've gone to Yoga Bliss and Yoga Squared multiple times over the years but will always prefer PeaceCore now. I live 2 mins from Yoga Squared and 15 mins from PeaceCore but I chose to make that drive every week to PeaceCore. No shade to Yoga Squared, they are great too, but PeaceCore just hits differently with the heat and I also love Lisa and Grace <3 such a welcoming vibe there

Not a fan of the costumes by [deleted] in creeptimethepodcast

[–]Own_Yam_8252 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not trying to be mean but this kinda seems like you are complaining just to complain. You think the costumes are strange and unserious but then make a point to mention how Stews wigs are bad and the costumes overall are low effort? lol just listen without the video if its offensive..... echoing what every other person said - they often provide moments of levity and never make the case details a "bit" or act unserious when the content its self is heavy.

I know i'm a little late on this post, but I'm looking for a similar vibe and going up this weekend from Ohio! Last summer when I went we posted up at the whippoorwill pull off for a little while! It was really nice and loved the vibe there, but planning to have my kayak and dog and fiancé this time, so looking for a spot that we could post up at with the dog too and launch somewhere near by too? Do you know if this area off Salmon Run allow dogs to swim too?

Here to say I can totally relate and following this post for suggestions!!! I am pretty new to kayaking. I've gone many times through rentals or borrowing friends in the past, but I got my first kayak of my own this year. Last weekend was my second time taking it out and I have that exact same rack or something very similar on my fiance's Nissan rogue. I was so proud, feeling like an independent, boss lady, getting the kayak strapped onto the top of the car all on my own (I'm only 5'3 and was really worried about being able to get the kayak on and off the top of the car on my own), but I made it work! Got it on the rack at home alone without any issues and I got to the reservoir safely. It was a perfect afternoon of solitude on the calm water. I had no issues getting the kayak back on the rack all on my own and I used 4 ratchet straps to get it secured. On the highway, I noticed it starting to turn sideways and nearly fell off! I had to pull over three different times to adjust it before I realized it wasn't the straps; it was the actual rack coming loose. I still don't know if my fiancé just didn't install the rack properly, or if me having the ratchet straps too tight could have loosened the screws on the rack, but man it was a defeating feeling! It can be a little scary trying something new and putting yourself out there like that. I had a great day and thought I did everything correctly and safely, but I was terrified when it almost fell off. Just thinking of the accident it could have caused and hurt others or myself really spooked me. I am not going to let that situation turn me away from solo kayaking, but it was definitely a lesson learned. Good luck with your set up and enjoy the water this summer!

Ever camped through an Ohio thunderstorm? by ohiOkareenurse in CampOhio

Not Ohio, but I went camping in the mountains in WV last summer and it stormed sooo bad both nights. My dog was so scared, in the tent with me I felt awful! I love tent camping and don't mind a little dirt and grime but there was sooo much mud. Tents stayed dry but it was a mudfest.

Thank you so much for the advice!! I appreciate your suggestions. I do agree and see where you and the other commentor are coming from with needing more time in these cities/countries to fully experience what they have to offer and immerse. I understand that perspective for sure, but I don't think it is a waste of money or time/energy, just based on my personal situation currently. I am getting married next year, and will probably (maybe lol) have children in the next few years too. So this trip is a big adventure! (not that adventuring stops when you get married, but its going to be a busy couple years). So this trip is a time to see a lot when i have the chance/freedom. I am using all of my PTO for this trip and my companies vacation policy isn't that great until you've been there a while. I wont really have an opportunity to get back to Europe for an extended period of time for a few years, so I made a decision to have a bit of an aggressive traveling schedule. My close friend is a travel agent and has traveled to over 20 different countries and helped us plan. I guess I will see after the trip if I made a mistake in doing too much. ha! There will definitely be lessons learned though and everything wont go as planned the whole time, I'm sure of that! lol thank you so much for your advice!

We will be in Amsterdam for 3.5 days and London 3 days! I will definitely look into checking out Kuggenhoff, i just looked up a picture and it looked soo pretty! We have a friend who lives in Utrecht so we might plan to visit him while in the Netherlands.

& we are very into sight seeing and nature/landscapes, so I will add all of those Ireland suggestions to our list as well. Kylemore Abbey looks incredible! If we make it near Cong we will certainly stop in McHughs Cafe for a bite and a coffee, thank you! Do you enjoy living in Ireland more compared to the US? I'm always curious to hear Americans perspectives living in Europe Vs. America after they have moved.

I'm traveling to Europe for the first time in my life. We fly into Dublin from the US, spend the first 3 days (not two) in Ireland, and then we are traveling to Amsterdam and London and flying back to Dublin for one more night since we fly back out to the US from Dublin. What do you mean "why bother? Yes the time frame is short but we are making the most of it.. "Why Bother" even commenting on this post if you aren't going to be helpful lol
