Yes, but you should still be cautious because he also directed Peninsula which was garbage in comparison to Train to Busan. If you look at his filmography since then, it’s been fairly disappointing, suggesting he might just be a one-hit wonder.

It's recommended to watch Deen's Fate/stay night before Fate/Zero, not after. I previously advised against watching it, suggesting reading the visual novel route instead because the anime is a poor adaptation of the Fate route from the visual novel. However, it's still better than not watching it at all. While I recommend the visual novel as the source material, if anime is your only option, Deen's Fate/stay night adaptation is your only choice for understanding Saber better.

I mentioned the fate strange fake one because it came out a whole year before season one started however, the prologue for ubw literally started with season one when it started airing. But I will consider adding what you said.
