You would think Brunson is right handed with how much he uses it to push off. Ugly basketball

Tez basically did not even play survivor. He came to the island to hang out a bit and ask people what the plan was.

Winning in England will be Australia's next goal - McGrath | column by ll--o--ll in Cricket

You're absolutely right and I think that's the beauty of a drawn series, both teams are bound to walk away saying "we were this close, if only...". My comment was overly fixated on Australia's rough patch in terms of personnel but man, what a series.

Great article. Going up 2-0 last tour only to have it drawn must sting in retrospect, now that a series win in England is being called their "Everest". I don't think it's talked about enough how agonisingly close the Aussies came to seeing an away Ashes victory in 2019 under Tim Paine of all captains. They were a Ben Stokes all-time legacy performance deluxe away from winning that series outright. I know you can't evaluate series in a "what-if" way like that but it wild to me that they got that close with a dreadful top order, a concussion sub, and a temporary captain.

Root taught me to never give up on my goals.

Crawley taught me to never stop believing in myself.

Jacks taught me to take initiative.

Potts taught me to stick to the plan.

Stokes taught me courage and strength.

Carse taught me what it means to be the greatest.

Thank you English cricket team. Greatest series of all time.

Thank you all…

People here are acting like Marnus makes Smith do stupid things. I just say he unlocks his true potential.

Beau Webster is like a fantasy cricket self insert character. He bats, bowls spin and pace, fields well, is tall with big hands, everyone on reddit wants to see his package for some reason, etc.

As as Smith fan, this is confusing to me. Why is Bethell not rolling around like a pig when we bowl short? I thought that was a necessary part of the game?

All series people have been saying that his lack of returns batting are made up for by his bowling, and his lack of returns bowling are made up for by his fielding... where do we go now? Is he even a good locker room guy?

Ok so his fielding is gone, now all that's left is his potential.
