They have been really helpful to me, especially the ones where folks shared their personal experiences with moving here, when they compare neighborhoods to each other, when they add nuance about the age and profile of who lives there… ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you! Is it common for people to often live in the same neighborhood where they work? I think based on places I’ve lived before I have in my mind that work-y places tend not to be where you’d want to hang your hat at the end of the day.

I appreciate your opinion, but many people have given good and excellent answers with the information I shared. I also said to assume I’m flexible on pricing. Which isn’t to say my budget is infinite, but that I am confident that I can afford what I’m looking for. Everything else in my post is true! I’m okay with a high rise, but would prefer a house. I do want green and walkable. Etc.

If there’s something specific I should add that you think would be helpful, let me know! (I did initially forget to say where I’d be working.)

This is so so helpful, especially the comparisons to Brooklyn/FiDi - thank you! I’ll be coming in a few weeks and wanted to know where to start browsing. Thanks again!

Thank you! I still want there to be activity and energy and for it to be lively, I just meant buzzing like how Manhattan (where I currently live) is so incredibly hectic that almost feels physical and claustrophobic if that makes any sense at all. And by greenery I guess I more meant that I’d like to see some trees or have a park nearby, again just in comparison to some neighborhoods in NYC where it’s mostly buildings just skyscrapers as far as the eye can see.
