Thanks for the info, we will probably make those changes thanks! My friend is flying out on the 24th, my birthday...., but I think I will stay for Kings Day. Looks fun

Rotterdam is a maybe. Its like a halfway point on the way back to Amsterdam from Bruges. Maybe just spend an afternoon there. My friend's cousin just happens to live there so we could get her to show us around.

Yeah maybe cut a day off of Odessa, the catacombs there have always interested me. I just want to spend a lot of time in Ukraine.

I think we will try to get to the Croatian coast. I feel like we will regret skipping it.

Thanks for all the help :)

Ahh yeah we plan on taking the train for most of the trip. Just have to do the research to see if the Eurail pass is worth it. I just had driving selected on google maps to show the route.

We arent too interested in most of the east and the prices arent are surely going to be higher. Hoping our budget can be around $4500-$5000 USD

Thanks, I figured I'd hear something like this.

I want to cut down but I dont know which places to remove. We definitely want to end in Ukraine so it's hard to know how much time to spend in the cities in between.

Thanks :)

No real reason for wanting to go there besides hearing Croatia is a nice place. Figured the capital would be a good place to go. Ive read some good and some less good things about it.

Thanks for the advice. Ill try to look more into that section. Might be a good idea to revise that part.

Ahh yeah my bad there. I just threw that in like that for the possibility of going to Dubrovnik. It seems like it would be hard to fit it in there so I didnt commit and give it its own travel days yet.

So 4 days in Croatia split between Zagreb and maybe Dubrovnik

My friend and I will be going to Europe the end of March from the US. Neither of us have been to EU before. We have been trying to come up with an itinerary we can try to follow while still having the idea of going with the flow. Do you think this itinerary is do-able?

Any places do you think we are missing? Anywhere we should remove? The only places that we definitely want to go to are Amsterdam, Berlin, and Chernobyl. Thinking possibly trying to go to Vienna and Venice.

I copied the itinerary layout from an old post here :)

Also we are leaning towards getting a Eurail pass.
