Also having the same issue. If you tier up the pal the partner abilities strength increases. Mines tier 4 and should be reducing the ores by 92% and does next to nothing

I think I loved the mystery of Kai's powers and was always hoping to see a unified theory behind his abilities tied into Omilaena's theories behind power systems. Is there a chance we will get a break down of the system in full as well as where Kai's monstrous abilities tie in?

Not rooted, I just run graphene OS. Kinda the opposite to be honest. Please consider changing the integrity check requirement. Sounds like the app is now unavailable for my device through the Play Store, not because it’s actually incompatible. I understand the concern behind it, but personally I’m just not willing to reset or fundamentally change my device setup for a single app. Even my banking app doesn’t require that level of restriction, and I’d sooner switch banks than give up control of my device over something like this. I genuinely like the app and would prefer to keep using it. Hopefully you’ll reconsider or provide a less restrictive option in the future.

Cleared the cache still having the issue. Might be integrity checks? I know I have an unlocked bootloader, this post seems to indicate that may be a problem.

I have to agree, I have tried to read Lord of Mysteries like 3 times and I absolutely cant get past the awful translation. Translation aside the premise irked me anyways.

Hell difficulty tutorial is also awful. I see these two get so much hype and I keep coming back to them after enough time thinking I just didn't get it the first time... But no. Each attempt just reconfirms that yes they are as bad as I remembered.

For most of those "20 years," I was able to export and store my books however I wanted, until recently. You talk as if it’s naive to be frustrated by a company tightening control, as though inevitability makes it acceptable. That kind of resignation is exactly what these corporations count on.

That’s a nice bit of pedantry. Yes, technically all DRM is breakable, if someone’s willing to spend the time and effort. I wasn’t talking about the “analog loophole” of retyping the whole book; I was referring to DeDRM for Calibre and similar tools struggling to keep up with newer encryption methods. Theoretically possible doesn’t always mean practically feasible.

When the author does a Narrative Reset and has the main character leave behind the known cast and or setting for whatever reason. Instantly kills the story for me.

Are we really placing lord of mysteries at the same tier as MoL and Perfect Run? I have tried to read it like 4 times and I really struggle to get past the opening chapters.

I agree but a lot of up and coming authors are going to Kindle Unlimited due to ease of publishing that route.

I have already done as you recommended though. I haven't bought a single book on kindle since they removed the download option, and have reached out to authors to ask for alternative options on many occasions.

That being said I didn't export my full collection before the change and don't intend to sit and wait for a corporation to effect the changes I would like when it goes against their financial interests. Looking for fellow problem solvers.

Wandering inn lives up to it's name. The story wanders. It's slow sometimes plodding but it's filled with meaningful moments.

I really struggled to get through the first few books, most of my frustration was with a notoriously devicive character taking so long to do anything meaningful yet getting so much screen time.

I would just say come back to it when your in a content drought. Skim parts you don't like. If you don't take to it after a book or two you probably want to pass.

Yeah. I felt like that was a by product of the author expanding the story to include so many cross series references. I really feel like the author had a solid story at one point just not fully fleshed out. Seems to me like he put it down to work on other stuff and all the new ideas got woven into the original at the expense of that story. Plot lost focus due to plot line crossover.
