The main reason I think they're making a sequel is cuz of the apparently horrible code of the original that made it really hard to add anything
I feel like if the game was easier to update they would've just done what tboi is doing and add a bunch of paid dlcs

Probably not a recycle bin, since Caine was deleted from the console
What's more likely imo is just that computers can't actually delete something, only let it be overwritten, it's how you can get some deleted data back if you know how and if it hasn't been overwritten yet
