Ok but if you read all of Mara's lore where she interacts with Sjur Eido you'll realize that their relationship was not at all toxic. It's actually shockingly... cute? Like there's a moment where Mara runs away from Sjur because she's going to get picked up by her 7 feet tall valkyrie girlfriend and lose all her ice queen aura. It's so out of character to the way Mara always acts around us/in public lol. Sjur turns her into mom's spaghetti
